QUESO RA
Queso Ra is a five piece band based out of Longmont, Colorado. With three singer/songwriters you will enjoy thick harmonies texturing a wide variety of music. Soulful sparkle folk, trippy hippy fiddle music, or rhythm and bluegrass-its a sound for our time and place, the sound of our feeling of joy.

Our story:
Queso Ra met in 2022 while playing open mics in Longmont, CO. They started jamming together and never stopped. The first year as a band was spent learning a new set of covers for almost every show-Dusty Springfield, The Flaming Lips, CCR, Pixies, Stevie Wonder, Sublime, James Brown, Nina Simone, The Cure, INXS, The Zombies, the list goes on. But original music began to creep into the set.
By 2023 Queso Ra had become a staple in their local music scene, playing many shows leading up to summer where Queso Ra toured through Colorado, Texas and Louisiana, playing their original music. Ending on stage at the 88th Annual Shrimp and Petroleum Festival in Morgan City, Louisiana.
Queso Ra spent 2024 writing, recording and releasing their debut album. It is now available wherever you listen to music
Queso Ra has played many venues, and events including Downtown Longmont’s Winter Walkabout, The Shrimp and Petroleum Festival in Bosier City Lousiana , The Gold Hill Store and Pub, The Stage at Bricks on Main, Bootstrap Brewing Benefit Events, and various Oskar Blues locations.
They will be releasing a three song EP in May 2025, leading up to their performance for thousands of people at the Boulder Creek Festival on Memorial Day.
A live album is coming in 2025 as well.
